Cookie Preferences

Last updated: April 18, 2026

Roastpit uses a small number of cookies and browser storage. Here is exactly what we store and why.

Preferences

Manage analytics consent

Checking your current setting…

Your choice is stored on this device so you do not have to answer on every visit. If you are signed in, we also save the analytics preference to your profile so it can follow your account across devices once you log in there.

Strictly necessary

These are required for the service to function. They cannot be disabled without breaking core features.

  • Supabase session — stores your authentication token so you stay logged in. Expires with your session or after 7 days. No personally identifiable information is stored in the cookie itself.
  • Supabase PKCE verifier — a short-lived value used during OAuth sign-in (Google). Cleared immediately after login completes.

Analytics

We use PostHog to understand how the product is used — which features work, where users drop off, and what's broken. Analytics are used to improve the product, not for advertising. These analytics only turn on after you choose to accept them.

  • PostHog session and device ID — anonymised identifiers used to group events into sessions. Does not contain your email or any directly identifying information.

You can reject analytics from the banner or from the preference controls on this page at any time. You can also email support@roastpit.io to request that your PostHog data be deleted.

What we do not use

  • No advertising or retargeting cookies
  • No third-party tracking pixels
  • No fingerprinting beyond what PostHog does by default
  • No cross-site tracking

Managing cookies

You can clear or block cookies at any time in your browser settings. Clearing the Supabase session cookie will sign you out. Clearing PostHog storage will reset your analytics identifier but will not affect your account or credit balance. If you are signed in, we also save your analytics preference to your profile so you do not need to make the same choice every time on every device.

For questions about our data practices, see the Privacy Policy or email support@roastpit.io.
